Making a difference to people with mental health issues and their families

We intend to champion mental health awareness, working within the community to make a difference to people’s lives.

Here at Head High, it is our heart felt desire to raise awareness and help tackle the stigma surrounding poor mental health. One of our attempts to get people talking about mental health more is our ‘Sharing Mental Health Awareness Event’ which we will be hosting on Saturday 7th September in The Market Square, Derby, between 11am and 4pm.

This will include some live music, talks and other interactive activities such as taster fitness classes. We look forward to seeing Derby City come together and embrace the activities around them with friends, family and colleagues as well as realise that it’s okay not to be okay and how important it is to support mental health not only just within our community but in ourselves and those around us.
